What is Psychology?

Psychology is a discipline whose goal is to understand and improve functioning of individuals, groups, and societies as a whole. Psychologists deal with diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues. However, psychological knowledge and skills are also necessary in a number of professions dealing with various challenges related to human mind and behavior. Therefore, graduates of psychology program can pursue careers in a variety of fields, including education, healthcare, business, media, market research, marketing and advertising as well as IT research and design.

Who May Apply?

The graduate level Psychology program is appropriate for students who hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology or another field of study with little exposure to Psychology. Students falling into the latter category are obliged to complete supplementary undergraduate psychology modules (i.e. Personality Psychology, Psychology of Emotion or Developmental Psychology), which will be assigned upon admission. These modules are provided free of charge and should be completed during the first year of study.

Studies at the Faculty of Psychology follow European standards of education in the field of psychology. The program fulfills the requirements of EuroPsy, the European qualification standard for psychologists, established by the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA) in 2010.

Emphasis on Practical Implementation of Theoretical Knowledge

Students learn how to use acquired skills and theories in practice. The lecturers, who are also practitioners in the field of psychology, focus on cognitive and behavioral approaches and talk about their work experience.

Clinical Psychology integrates science, theory, and practice to understand, predict, and reduce maladjustment, disability, and distress as well as to support personal development.   1. Fill in the Application Form.
  2. Pay the Application Fee
  3. Send the required documents to the Admissions Office
  4. Wait for a Conditional Acceptance Letter
  5. Pay the Tuition Fee
  6. Wait for the Final Acceptance Letter
  7. Upon your arrival in Poland, submit original documents to the Admissions Office
  8. During the first semester, submit the Nostrificaiton of your diploma
